Hi all. I've been doing a lot of highway driving lately and all of a sudden truck started sputtering while driving down highway. I noticed blue smoke coming from exhaust while it was sputtering. Then it would run smooth and no smoke. A few seconds later doing it again.
Started to look at scan Guage and the only thing that looked a bit off was FMP was going down to as low as 46 then back up to 47.5
Map at idle is 13.6. Map when driving and gave it a bit of throttle would go up to 30 ish 35 sometimes
Icp looks good.
Any ideas please. I'm sitting in a Macdonalds parking lot. Tks

 

Injector drop out. Tough to say if it's spool, fuel pressure or plunger.

Going to need Ford IDS or AE with contribution testing.

You might have a pending code of the offending cylinder(s)

 

The only code I'm getting is p0470. Exhaust pressure sensor

Power balance looks good

When driving with little load on motor is when it has intermittent power loss
When I put the pedal down it seems fine. Then back off on throttle it acts up again

 

Bad EBP sensor can cause those symptoms. Unplug the EBP and go for a drive.
