I'm running a Car 3-blade fan with shroud and have had no issues even in 100 deg weather. But I have spent a lot of time getting my block and radiator really clean.

I have a four blade from an f1 and one from an f6. I need to look again but pretty sure the f6 fan has more than 4 blades

Anyone know size bolts?

Does anyone know the size bolts? I have located a matching 5 blade and have the metal ring, but no bolts to mount it on the hub.

Thank you, but I am measuring 1/4 " holes by 28 fine thread. Does that sound right? Are you saying that the screws are only supposed to be 1/16" long?

1/16" long? I measure 1/4" diameter and 28 fine thread. I have another problem. The pulley for the fan is freely sliding from mounting hub. Is it supposed to do that? If not, how do I fix it?

No problem, thank you so much for the specs. I could not find them anywhere. Do I have a major problem with the pulley? It slides freely from behind the mounting ring aft to the motor on the shaft. Something just doesn't seem right with this?

Here is the list of screws and bolts for the assembly

EDIT: Just relooking at the chart, the 48-51 Big Job 337 fan hub had 1/4 x 28 thread x 3/4". Maybe somebody changed out the hub before, if so the parts list is just above the second group highlighted. I edited the picture.

I think your right, because it is a 239 and it had an electric fan on it. The pulley behind the hub is not firmly attached to the shaft. It does stop turning when I hold it up close to the back of the hub. It does look like there is a gasket between it and the hub.

The fans on these are opposite from most modern setups. The shaft is held firm, and the pulley/hub/fan spin on that.

I understand the spinning freely, but it slides back and forth along the shaft. The last thing I want to do is to put a belt on and throw the fan. It looks like there is a sleeve or something missing to hold it firmly on the shaft.
