need some help with a few things

got a 72 f100 with a 240 six, 3 speed column shift manual, first thing i need to ask is this, i have an 89 bronco with a 302, my f100 has trans code c, i believe it to be a RAN-e1 gearbox, i want to know if it'll handle the power of my 302 (lightly modified, 302 bone stock internals ford shorty headers) i know its fuel injected, i have all the parts and the know how to get it running in the f100 in a very short amount of time, the other thing is i have those stupid flex-o-matic rear leaf spring shackles, what leafs and shackles can i install that'll be a direct bolt in replacement?

TRANS code C: 1966/79 Ford type 3.03 3 speed manual all syncromesh trans. TRANS code A was used 1963/65 for this trans, and 1957/62 for the T-86 non syncro first gear trans.

RAN-E1 = 1969 F100 114" wheelbase w/a 240 I-6.

RAB-N or RAN-CC = 1972 F100 114" wheelbase w/a 240 or 302.

RAB-L or RAN-CE = 1972 F100 131" wheelbase w/a 240 or 302.

Most of the 1972's internal parts are the same as the 1967/72 F100/250 RAT's with 352/360/390.

Flex-O-Matic was optional for 1968/72 F100's. Find a 1965/72 F100 without Flex-O-Matic, the springs, u-bolts and spring hanger brackets are different.
