Will 1980 shock towers fit on a 1979?

My old shock towers are very much rusted and I want to install new ones asap. I found these. Will they fit on the 79 F100? Or will they require modification?

I would try to find the correct ones. I am way far away from my trucks to even give an opinion. Do you have a 2 or 4? What state you in?

It's a 2wd 1979 F100. I've searched a lot and this is all I've found. I'm in Kansas right now but I will be in California at the end of the month. That's why I need to fix it asap

Those will be more trouble than its worth. Did you try junkyards. I've never had these rust out. I've got a pair hanging on a 78. And I could get em to Newton free of charge. But it won't fit your time frame. Just trying to help

I can't find any on inventory in the local junkyards. I'm in Montezuma KS 67867. I appreciate the effort bud

I would suggest contacting the bronco graveyard. They should be able to help you out. Either by getting you the correct parts or by steering you in the right direction.

I have a similar issue on my 1979 F-100. The driver's side spring/shock mount is rusted in half. I know this thread is a bit old but it is the only discussion I could find on this topic. Did anyone have any luck finding originals or an aftermarket mount that will work?

Thank you!
