V10 vs PSD Exhaust (Swappable)

Ok, F250 in my sig needs an exhaust. Guy at work has truck of about the same year and same body (SC/SB). Only major difference is that this truck has the 7.3 PSD.

He's replaced his entire exhaust with an aftermarket setup, and offered me the old one.

I'm sure there is probably no compatibility as far the catalytic converters go, but what about the rest of the exhaust, Y pipe, muffler, etc?

Diesels don't have a y pipe, in the same setup as a gasser at least. Just one pipe straight back from the turbo. Muffler on my diesel looked similar to the one i pulled off my gasser...it'd be easier to just buy a new aftermarket exhaust that bolts right up

I think the only part that will work is the tail pipe.
