Alright, I know this topic has been beaten over and over again; I just can't find an exact thread that I'm looking for. I have a 2005 F-150 4x4 XLT 5.4. I'm currently running a 1.5" leveling kit and 2011 20" FX4 wheels with stock everything else. As of now I have 305/55-20 Nitto Trails on there. They fit fine, no rub, just not the size I'm really looking for. I was debating getting the Toyo Open Country ATII's in a 295/65-20. I love the look of the taller slimmer tire on other trucks. Just don't know if I have enough clearance. Anybody with some advice would really help me out. Also, the nittos are for sale. So if your close to MS then maybe we could work something out!

 

275/65/20 is a 34.5 inch tall tire so I beleive a 295/65/20 end up bein just under 36 but dont have a size calc so im not 100%. Is your truck completely leveled with just the 1.5? I beleive that size should fit if its completely leveled

 

It's close. About an inch too short in the front. I may look into the smaller size.

Look into the 295/60/20. It'll be a perfect fit and should look great.

 

Yeah, I've always kind of regretted getting the 1.5". I'm looking at getting rough country's 2.5" just to see if that would satisfy me before looking into new tires. The 305 is a good size, I just can't leave crap alone.. lol.

 

You can pick up a aluminum 2.5 inch block for like 65 bucks on ebay rather than the 125 from rough country and thats what ive been running for a long time. Installing it isnt that bad if you had a shop install your 1.5. And too bad I just did away with my 20's for 18's or id be interested lol
