Is it possible to perform coolant flush without a Rad Vac?

Hello, I have a 2008 F250 approaching 75k and i would like to perform my coolant flush early. I am worried about front cover cavitation. Is it possible to do a proper flush without a rad vac? I see this is the preferred method but i do not own the kit. Also i bought the Ford gold coolant but not sure how much it will use. Also should it be pre-mixed? Thank you all in advance.

Yes this is possible, I did mine last year. It takes several hours to do it properly though. After the flush though I went with Rotella ELC coolant. You don't have to worry about silicate drop out like you do with the Ford coolant. Google 6.4 coolant flush....There's a few excellent how to videos.

distilled but not deionized water, or else use premix.

Always make sure you add the coolant very slow, and make sure it takes the full amount that it should. If it doesn't, you probably poured to fast, and theres an air pocket.
