Great build so far! I just got an 89 from NE Wisconsin and it is quite rusty, a thing folks here in Arkansas don't know too much about. I have a new bed for it and I'm considering even a cab swap (rockers are GONE). Same as you, just want a rust-free DD. I really like the CB Mount ya made...what did you make it out of?

Thanks. Took some 3/16" plate steel I had lying around and bent it a little. It's probably a little overkill, but it works and it was free. I look forward to watching your build.

Thanks. And yea, I've been over on TRS for awhile now. I can't wait to have this thing finished either. It's been far too long.

I started a new job last Wed. which has been taking a lot of my time up. 6 days a week 11 hrs/day. I did get the brakes done and just finished removing the steering box, ps hoses, and steering today.

Couple updates.

Cracked the heads and warped the block this winter on the truck. Bought a used 302 with 104K and rebuilt the top end. New BBK headers, full stainless exhaust, super 10 muffler, flow matched injectors, MSD blaster coil, new heads, new pushrods, Mallory ignition billet distributor, ford racing valve covers, new oil pump, and sandblasted/painted the motor.

Got the rest of my parts for the lift as well. Deaver 5.5" superflex coils, bronco graveyard 4" lift leaf springs, ruff stuff u-bolts and plates, Solid axle industries diff cover for the sterling 10.25, all new brakes, bearings, etc for the front axle, and the one ton steering parts for the super runner steering upgrade.

Beautiful truck man, that new 302 is gorgeous. (And I hate 302s lol) makes me feel bad about my truck haha. (1990 2wd 300 5peed, Dent riddled with body cancer, perfect frame though) I actually got asked if it was my beater the other day. I laughed and said nope it's my daily..

Thanks guys. A lot of hard work went into this.

Wiz, the ranger has been sitting unfortunately. Haven't had the time to work on it.
