First thing I would do is replace that POS aftermarket coil with a motorcraft coil correct to the truck.

Do you have spark at all?

Cause and effect...........You must have broken a connection while looking for the vac. leak, check things as easy as one end of the coil lead being just barely off, or the +/- leads to the coil.

It is going to take some time going through this thing just going to have to pull tape and loom looking every thing over. Discovered today that the wiring is a lot worse then I thought bad crimps and no solder.

There is your problem...........Have the wife crank the truck while you twist/pull suspect connections, I bet she fires up at some point.

PS.......Watch your fingers, while cranking.

Coil is junk.
Actually it's a good attempt at a MAF (Mass Air Flow ) system. Most of the wire mess on the solenoid is a bad 3 g alternator upgrade, rgm makes a kit you can fix all that with later on.
Looks like the 2nd biggest problem, your fuel injection wire harness is butchered. I think if you clean that up, you will get the fuel injectors triggering properly again. Another problem you may have, the mustang computer is grounded differently than the trucks, so you may need to work on some grounds. If he did anything half right, there should be a ground behind the headlights on the driver side, inside the core support, this is your main computer ground. The second computer ground comes out of the harness at the firewall, and attaches to the hood hinge right inside the fender driver side. I can take some pictures tomorrow if the rain lets up some, I have MAF on the 94 that I built the motor like yours for.

Thank You

I will look at the cost of the coil.

This is some of the crap I removed when 130amp alternator went in.

This is what I added the wire is over kill but bought it on a big discount short piece.

The rest of the crap at the starter relay is trailer wiring hack

Sorry for the delay Chris.
Been a horrid start for the week. Photobucket is locked up for me tonight, so I have to remember what we had.
I seem to remember a mess of red duct tape. What's under that?

Some of the things I have figured out with this thing The ECM is an X3Z from a 93 Mustang Cobra SVT and it has the Mustang 70mm mass air sensor and throttle body.

No worry on the delay not driving the pickup much.
The mess under the red duct tape is the stock ecm connector.

When I realized the mess on the alternator I knew i had some trouble coming.

If I get too concerned about the wiring any suggestion on what to get one from?

I can hook you with an old thread I wrote on the alternator tomorrow, I'll dig it out, looks like you have the basics there already, just need a clean up.
Tomorrow I will also try to see photobucket again, and ask for more pictures. I really think bad coil right now, but a good clean up is needed too. We'll figure it out.

The alternator wire is 2 gauge running to a 175amp fuse the connected to the battery post.
Looking at the wiring tonight there are splices after splices and other dumb stuff tomorrow I dig out the soldering iron.
