Battery light on

Gentlemen,

I have a 2011 F250 Super Duty w/116k miles. A week ago the battery light came on. Now the instrument cluster goes crazy, lights blinking, check everything, heater going full blast with heater off, windows dont work, etc. The everything goes back to normal for a while, including battery light goes off, then it goes nuts again. The battery tested out fine, wondering if anyone has any input on this problem. Either alt or some kind of something causing power surges, etc...

A friend of mine at work has a 2012 Mustang that did this same thing. Brought it to the dealer and they replaced the battery and hasn’t done it since. Not saying the same thing is going on with your truck, just sharing the experience, good luck...
