Max Tach RPM ?

About to install an Auto Meter 52MM tach in my E250, have several max RPM options: 4K, 7K & 8K. Cost isn't an issue, they're all close enough.

What sort of max RPM's would I see during normal non-towing daily driving?

TIA

I'd go with the 7K.

You probably won't go above 4K very much in "normal" driving except when you floor it, perhaps the rare time when that's necessary or you feel like playing.

I rarely see over 4K on my SD. Usually, it's during towing operations though.
