Ford power steering pumps

Hey guys is there anything i can do to fix or upgrade the stock power steering pump on an 03 f250 5.4?

i was dissapointed with my 02 7.3 pump as it also powers the brake system. read some stuff about swapping out pumps to a chevy pump with bigger capacities, but never looked into it any further. its a pain in tight quarters but i have learned to live with it

Best thing you can do is to flush it. I have a 06 with a weak pump and flushed the PS pump. It made a huge difference. Make sure to use Transmission fluid not Powersteering fluid. Its easy to do but will make all the difference
