replaced rotors / pads still shaking

This could be part of the problem, depending on how many miles you have since changing them. It can take numerous light braking applications allowing rotors and pads to cool in between braking and should never involve heavy braking. How did you break them in?

I ended up taking it to a small shop here I've used before and one of the calipers was not retracting properly. They're replacing it with a new OEM one. Could explain why I had this issue multiple times and the dealer turned them likely just to make me happy but missed the real cause. Mechanic called the dealer to order the replacement and they also said it wouldnt have been covered after 36k anyways. Since it was previously documented I may have stood a chance though :/

Part wont be in until tomorrow, OEM caliper was about $111. They checked the front tires and perfect balance. I have good original rotors still. He said they looked new still. Guess I'll throw them up in the garage for next time since I can't return the new ones.

took mine in for its first brake job at 3 years, 35,000 miles. Mechanic told me the factory rotors didn't have enough material on them to be turned even once.
4 new rotors, 4 sets of pads and $1600. Canadian dollars later, all is good. Hopefully will last another 3 years!
