Torque Converter Capacity

I am changing the Torque Converter in my 1995 Ford F150 4x4. It has the 4R70W. I need to know how much fluid to put in the new one before I put it in the transmission.

With it laying down it will hold more than standing up.
It will take probably 2 quarts without spilling out, but lay it down to lube the whole inside.
The pump will quickly fill the tq converter on startup, so make sure you top off the trans while running, idling in park.

X2 on that, also let the torque converter set a few hours after filling it before installing it. That will help the converter's lock up clutch pack soak with fluid and not have a "dry lock up" when it does.
