F150 2004 5.8l vitron
I live in Canada and I was coming home with the truck mentioned in subject. I already know my torque converter is somewhat causing an issue when I drive around 80 km/h and the truck start shaking if I just press slightly on the gas. I have been driving like this for a while now. However, today, I was driving back and all of the sudden no more response from the gas pedal, I tried to gear it in 2nd and even 1st, no reaction and when pressing gas it does even rev up just press and no reaction. The battery light was on and it was saying check gauge
The truck finally came to a stop. I started the truck again but the battery light is still on the truck does not rev when I press on gas pedal and doesn't move when I put in gear.
my initial thought was the torque converter has gone on it, but I should be able to put in other gear or press the gas and get the truck to rev without moving????
so what could it be if the truck has no response to pressing the gas, doesn't rev, doesn't move and has the battery light.
fuel pump? battery? belt? engine? transmission?
thank you for your help

test
thank you CB13. I went back to see the truck today and checked a few things. I turned the key far enough without starting it and I could here the fuel pump, so I was able to rule that out. So I tried to start the truck, which after stopping it yesterday it wasn't starting and to my surprised, it started like nothing had happen. I was pressing gas and strange enough, it was reving and everything seemed okay. I am assuming it is now a sensor in the throttle system that cause the pedal to not be responsive with the engine yesterday and we will be able to pin point the test.
I just forgot to do one tyest and it is to put it in gear and see if it moved or not, will have to go back tomorrow and check again.
