Tiff has the Dodge today, I have her car so I can get a windshield put in it and Cora has a good pair of sneakers and permission to use the school bus.

It's raining here, so hopefully it either stops, or I get the Porsche bumper done enough to pull it outside while the guy pops in the new glass.

 

Good MOrning all! Have meetings today, so my night is almost twice as long! Might fall asleep in one again this week! haha..

Alan, I am going to try to get your way to give you the stuff I got so far. Hopefully today or tomorrow when your at the shop.

 

Morning folks, we got rain last night and it still sprinkling up here.

 

sounds like a damp day everywhere but here.. alan if you see your glass guy could ya ask about a windshield and frt and rear gaskets.. i plan to get the rear end apart today, and maybe the dash pad out i need to get the flywheel surfaced if i can later today.

Just in for lunch. I got that Porsche bumper fixed and in primer this morning.

RC, I'll ask if I see him. I may have to go to the highway patrol to get one inspected this afternoon. I just left the car and money at the shop. I use the Carsten Auto Glass on on south Glenstone. They're good guys there and give pretty good deals.

 

Hmmm. ......Everyone must be working.

I'm off to physical therapy, then to the car lot. I'm gonna shoot the porsche today and put the tail gate on the Ford. ...then I have to see if I can make the rest of the Ford look like the tail gate.

I have to make the hold downs for Bandits new batteries, then I'll fit that throttle linkage.

 

good morning missouri.. just drinking coffee on the back porch watching the turkeys.. i think spring is finally here..

 

alan i looked at that truck..does have a few parts i could use.. but right now i can't let loose of that much.. plus i already have a 67-72-f250 at the yard

 

Off to Clever with the xbro inlaw for a big farm auction. Another day not in my shop working on my stuff.....someday.

Doing some honey due's this morning and waiting on who the property manager to get their plumber out here to fix/replace the kitchen faucet. There are a couple perks to renting, with a good company/property owner. But nothing beats having your own place, and out of this H.O.A..... But we did luck out for getting a nice place, sight unseen.

Good morning all, I'm in office and attempting to catch up. Rich, you'll get some shop therapy in the near future, I'm certain of it.

 

I made myself laugh today. I went to PT this morning. Then went to work. I tried to put the tailgate on and quickly realized why it didn't have one to begin with. The bedsides were folded in so the tailgate wouldn't fit. I grabbed a sledge hammer and a block of wood and commenced to "clearancing" the bedsides so the gate would fit.

The funny part was, not 30 minutes earlier, the trainer told me the number one cause of back injury is the misuse of long handled tools. So, what's the first thing I grab when I get to work? ....a sledgehammer.

 

sooooo does anyone know where i might be able to find a replacement glass for the pop up sun roof in my 89 f150? I'm thinking its a aftermarket deal someone installed. Long embarrassing story short i shattered it today. Oh and hi everyone

 

oh and before someone ask no i haven't set myself on fire lately (well my boot sole standing on a piece i cut off on a beveler but it went out when i moved my foot) got my structural stick and mig certs hopefully flux core tomorrow then on to pipe welding at school
