I am not rich like you so repair is my only option. I think tomorrow on eBay I will get a timer, motor and motor control board. They are used but tested. Around $150 compared to $500 for all that. Wish I knew someone good with electrical appliances diagnostics.

Good morning woodchucks. Gloomy day ahead - sounds like Jim's wife is back to beating clothes on the rocks again. I 've used Tatro's appliance in E. Barre a couple of time. Reasonable and seemed pretty competent. Good luck with the washer. PITA when they quit.

Good morning Shawn. I was going to call them but couldn't find the number in the phone book. I think I'm going to source the three parts from eBay. I kind of think it is the timer but the resistance testing of the motor control board and motor indicate both of those are bad

Hope it helps and hope it is still a good number. Haven't called them in a few years. At some point it's easier and cheaper to let someone who knows what they're doing with the right tools fix what's broken rather than throwing parts at it. Maybe this'll be cheaper, or at least tell you what's broken.
