I have a 2005 F250 Lariat Super Crew 5.4L gas and have been looking into a supercharger or turbo charger kit and cannot find a company that makes a kit for this year model. Can you guys provide any help on where I can look or any other tips on getting some power out of this 5.4L? It has a 6 inch lift with 37's and is really sluggish down low. Thanks.

 

regear to 4.56 or 4.88 gears

Do what Tylus said and re gear it. May want to look at a Detroit locker or truetrac while your at it. With a 4.88 your effective ratio will go from 3.23 up to a 4.23 assuming you have 3.73 gears stock. 4.56 gears will put you around 3.95.

maybe you have a underlying problem....I have the same truck with 87K and recently did an engine decarb routine. My truck hops if I don't go soft on the gas pedal.
