That was also my thought after posting. I thought this summer when the Valley is HOT I would see if we could get something in Camp Verde or Prescott area.

PS: I only had the other Chat closed to get everyone including me use to the new format. I should of started the Spring on March 1st but because of the way things fell this will be a short Spring Chat. In June we'll start the Summer 2014 Chat.

Clint don't mention taxes please. We had to pay big time. We filed & they will electronically deduct my checking account on April 15th.

Happy April, all!

I would have liked going on the trail ride. My truck can definitely get dirty. In fact, since it lives on the ranch, it is perpetually dirty!

Kiddo had a game that morning, so I wasn't able to make it. Just an overbooked schedule.

Other than April 12 & May 17/18, I'm free if Ray or anyone else wants to try to schedule another one.

Did go look at motorcycles at a the UTI/MMI Bike Show on Saturday afternoon. My pal Jake won a trophy for his dad's 1953 HD. He had invited me to enter my Sporty, but I wouldn't have had time to get it up there had I felt confident riding it that far.

Spent most of the morning on Friday at the MVD CDL office in Mesa. After speaking with a really nice CDL examiner, I confirmed that I don't need the CDL for my rig. I jotted her name down in my notes, for sure!

I haven't done our taxes yet. <sigh> Not sure if we'll owe or get back, but I gotta get on it!

 

A 53 that has got to be awesome. Last time I saw one like that was at my mechanics shop he has a 57 Indian absolutely 100% original.

I really like the looks of the old Indians. I've seen some really beautiful ones with leather bags, etc that really are works of art.

 

I was in & out of MVD in 15 minutes, only because I was first in line. Got there at 7am for an 8am opening.
Maybe bringing the Crown Vic back this weekend.

I thought maybe an outing this summer will be good. Of course if other want to do something before great.
I don't know if the fishing in Lynx Lake will draw Bill this far north. I remember only seeing him a few minutes the last G2G there, He & his boy were on the water.

I like the old Indians to very hard to come by though. I wish I took some pics of the bikes at my buddies shop but I was on the bike with my dad and was kinda hard to bring my camera with me.
