You busy today, Rob?

 

Not too busy today Pat... lots of stuff to do, but no pressing deadlines for a change.

 

This is an easy month for me, so I'm spreading things over the whole month.

 

I'm stuck waiting for someone else on one project... about the time they get back to me, I'll be knee deep in some other project and then I'll be going crazy for a week or two. That's the way it's been the last few weeks.

 

I'm kind of sweating what's going on here now. We have been put back under the supervision of my old shop ( Instrument and Control), and there is talk of me, and the guys in the test equipment lab, having to get our I&C quals back, so the shop can use us whenever. But, I haven't worked on the plant in over 8 years, and neither have the guys down in the lab. Someone is trying to avoid hiring new people, and we're fighting that battle right now. PITA.

Morning Rob. How are you doing today?

 

Trying to stay awake at the moment... office is too quiet today. How's your day looking?

 

Not too bad so far Rob. Got warm here. Almost 70 today. I am looking forward to my short work weeks which start next week.

 

We are supposed to see 80 degrees tomorrow. Not liking that too much, it's too early.

 

That it is Rob. Also too hot for me.

 

At least the humidity won't be bad yet... it's really dry here, not much snow all winter and really no rain to speak of for the last couple weeks.

 

No humidity here yet but it is coming. We always get alot of humidity because of the bay.
