Door stop mods

Searched, but couldn't find any info on holding the rear doors fully open. I like to leave them open while camping, but was looking for something nicer than tying them back to the wheels. Thanks.

Due to the overwhelming response, I was forced to use my own brain and come up with a solution. My buddy is a freaking awesome machinist and this is what we came up with. Hope you guys enjoy, I know I'm tickled pink.

I second that!! I think you just found a side business. I would love a set of them for my beast as well. I haven't had the factory stops hooked up in years. Let us know if he will make more and how much he wants for them.

Maybe it's just me but what is the difference between what your friend designed and the thing ford put in there to hold the doors open? It looks like the doors are at the same angle. I need something that opens those doors 180°

This does that, it holds the hinges completely open, if it was the factory stops, there would be a 90 degree angle between the edge of the door and the sides of the door opening. These awesome door stops hold the hinges straight or fully open

Check the photo again...the door is open 180° - camera angle may be messing with your eyes.
