Moved to Waxhaw, NC
For what its worth, we just moved to Waxhaw, NC (just outside of Charlotte) about 2 weeks ago -- job transfer, I actually work in Ft Mill, SC.
Anybody in the area? Let me know.
Here's one of our pit stops (kids and dog potty break) from IL to NC.
Had to bring my daily driver............. wife's car was shipped to our new home.
Anybody in the area? Let me know.

I heard about the great festivals here. If you can provide more info that would be great.
One of the things I look forward to is to NOT deal with salty roads and massive amount of snow. Too bad the Ex has been exposed to salt but at least it would slow down the rusting process --- I hope.
Thanks for the kind words regarding my Ex. Love this truck too.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. There are 2 festivals we go to in Waxhaw. The first is in the spring on May 17th and 18th. It is called SpringFest. They also have basically the same festival in October and it is called Autumn Treasures. They also have a few more throughout the year but those are the 2 we attend. If you go to Waxhaw's city home page they will have more info about them. If you decide to check out the SpringFest stop by and say hello. We own and operate the big inflatable lemonade lemonade stand (can't miss it....it looks like a bounce house and is about 15' tall). I'd be great to meet and say hello to someone on the forums in person.
