You know that's a good question. We need Miles to tell us how he
kills a lot of things on his truck. ( snicker )

Mud bath ??

BTW I don't get any RF noise from my HIDs.

I have been thru 4 sets of HID's. None of them cheap. Sick of the hassle of melted ballasts, flickering bulbs etc. They are all good for the first year or so. Well, except that the only difference between hi and lo is the aimed height. Same brightness.

idk, they just kept flickering for like 2 days then would die. only 1 headlight would die. the newest set gets rid of this little voltage regulator box entirely...just headlight and plugs right into harness. i think these will be good for a while

also in my friends 2015 6.7 he tried LEDs in his fog lights and it severly interfered with the radio...he ended up just returning them and installing rigids, which produce much more light. headlights didnt cause any interference though. i haven't had any issues in that regard either

All the kits i buy are less then $100, one of the kits i bought in '07 and is still on the same bulbs, ballast and relay and the kit has been on two trucks.

I think i got it figured out. Should be side to side, same reflector position as 05-07 just a little wider(top to bottom). Have to wait till it gets dark to check, but should work. originally had them pointing up and down but didn't look right. A little cut out tool work to the bulb insert plate so the bulb would face the right way, didn't take long. check back in later with results.

I installed led's in my 08....yes you want the led's at the 3 and 9 oclock positions in order for them to work properly.
