Well yes, it's still a standard bulb base.

On my converted 02 there was a slight bit of grinding of the metal plate behind the headlight.

Yes sir, H13's. My truck is an 02 with the 05 headlights using the 99-04 header panel. I had to trim the panel a bit to clear the fan on the back of the bulb. If your truck is 05-07 you shouldnt have an issue.

Ditto on me. 05-07 should fit no problem.

Thanks guys! I'll keep these in mind when I have one go out. It just doesn't fit the budget at the moment after doing studs/delete etc last week!

I sort of like the LED idea.
The only problem around here is when it does
snow it's that wet stuff that sticks to everything
and then freezes hard. Wiper shakers come to
mind at times like that. I would not want to have
to go out every few miles and clean the headlights too.

Maybe someone will come up with headlight heaters
or a set of wipers with shakers to clear the lens.

I know that my LED cubes do not de-ice in the winter if I'm driving. My headlights with the HID projectors will. But after a few miles the LEDs are useless.

I will second the fact that the 05-07 reflectors suck as they are side to side reflectors, not top and bottom like most vehicles. But, even with that I like the pattern they put out better than my HID's did.
Did you get the offset stuff fixed?

Just checking back in, everyone still happy? I am thinking of pulling the trigger here pretty quick. Has anyone got them for their fog lights also?

Throwijg thisbiut there dont get cheap ones on amazon... my passenger loght on my expy is leaking and my driver side is already out after a month. Also when using high beams the passenger side shuts off so with high beams on I have all ny lights off lol. Once I get something out of this company I bought them from I will be going with lifetime ones.

One of my retaining rings stripped so the bulb kept falling out. They sent me 2 new ones. No problems with the actual bulbs. Everyone that sees them likes them.

Great to hear thanks! No I wouldn't go with Amazon ones, I would do Lifetime for sure. I am really curious about bulbs for the fog lights as well. No one has tried that?

I've heard it doesn't work.

What I would do is put like amazon LED bulbs in the fogs. Not like the headlights but the ones that have the tower with a bunch oh LEDs all around. That way you get color match and good light.

the set up is likely a cluster of small high power LEDs coated with phosphor, for what it's worth (likely not much)

while it is true that LEDs generate a huge amount of heat, the heat is NOT thrown forward, thus the large heat-sink and fan behind the LED. based on my knowledge of LED function, i would have say that these guys are right and that they do not generate enough heat to thoroughly melt ice in said conditions.
