I have a Ford Racing 306 with aluminum heads and a AOD transmission which is lighter than the original flathead v8 and 4 speed I pulled out. I don't know how yours will sit, but i like the look and the ride, ie still a truck but softer.
I have the exact same setup, tires, engine and trans. The front axle measures the same from the garage floor, 6.5 inches. The distance from the top of the axle to the frame is 6 inches which puts the bottom of my front bumper about 12 inches off the ground. My truck now set level. The more that I look at the picture of your truck I am thinking that I like the look with the front end a little lower. Were probably going to put the DuFlex on the front the next time Speedway has a shipping special.

You might want to try going directly to Posies and eliminate the middleman. I'm not sure if it is any cheaper going to AZ but you can check directly with them by phone. They were very helpful when I got mine.

My rears are just basically stock replacements from Posies, my fronts were also stock springs from Posies . After the motor/trans swap, new paint etc. I swtiched my wheels and the front springs to the dual flex superslides from Posies. If you look in my Album you will see pictures with the smoothie wheels which all had the "stock" type springs from Posies. The pictures with the American Racing wheels (profile) are with the new front dual flex springs, ie 2 leafs. After the motor/trans swap it just seemed to ride bouncy due to the lower weight so I needed something softer and they also helped the stance.

Posies recommended Bilstein shocks to cure that.

Anyone know much does a front leaf spring weight?
What about rear weight?
