Hello everyone. I need some help I recently purchased a 1988 Ford larriat XLT F150. Like the title says i broke the dipstick tube. I've tried looking and feeling my way through the topside where the dipstick was but cant find a hole. I looked underneath and couldn't see or feel it either. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for reading.

 

Through the block and just above the pan or "1988" through the side of the pan itself perhaps? Seams I recall my 87 was through the side of the pan rather than the block.
