Score!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found a old thread where a guy said he bought one of these in '95 and paid $400. I went to the shop and pulled it off the truck before someone else did. Its going on my '55 F100 project.... Plus im fascinated with eagles. My late grandfather had one tattooed on his chest when he was in the army. Every time i look at it i will think of him.

Depending on condition they can go for much more than 400.00. They are being reproduced in Stainless.

The reproductions were not available until around 2005, so they were hard to come by.

I have bought several over the years and in your condition (condition is everything) I have paid as little as $30.00 and as much as $125.00

Chrome platers do not want to do bench work to repair pitting in pot metal so the cost to repair these is very expensive.

Funny, that was my first thought. You only have to air up one side that way.

Very nice looking truck. That bird will look great on it.
