239 oil pressure
I was installing new oil lines to the stock oil canister
and removed the top brass connector and noticed a small
pin hole and thought I could get better oil flow if I drilled it out.
now I thinking it was supposed to be small to build up oil pressure!
Did I screw it up.
Thanks Ken

You absolutely need the orifice fitting, it limits the amount of oil going to the filter. You may starve the engine's bearings if you drilled it out. You can buy a new orifice here:
Orifice / restrictor fitting
The center tube on the filter has a similar small orifice that will limit the flow, but I wouldn't run it without the one on the inlet. What pressure are you seeing with it drilled?
