I have the chance to get a 74 f100 longbed that has a decent cab and other parts. The truck is partially torn apart, resto that lost interest. I just want the doors and bed. Has a decent grill solid chassis, 302, auto tranny, good rear glass and other stuff I don't want. The truck has a good VIN / title. Is this a two wheel drive?

I'm sniffing around for a donor truck with a four wheel drive front end these days. I still don't know how much they may want for one at Otay Mesa...

But the plan is still on the books, just a matter of time.

 

This is a 2wd f100 longbed with a 302 / c-4, I believe. It is really cheap,...i.e. the owner wants to get rid off it quick. I would get it but my driveway and garage are full and I live in military housing and can only get away with so much. This thing does have a good cab, hood, front fenders are savagable. There are other bits and pieces worth while.

 

I think I'll have to pass on it.

When I blew the C4 in mine, I replaced it with a C6, and both of my front fenders have already been "savaged"...
