In the midst of my whistle problem testing i blew the pump shaft seal out of the steer pump. Can you get a seal kit for these pumps?.

Other than that maybe a hydraulic shop and that
is going to be a BIG maybe.

Actually az has a seal for 7 bucks, or a pump for 52$. Think ill get the pump with the llt warranty so when i blow it up i can exchange it. Ill be back at it providing the rain stops. Took all day yesterday to get the truck back together in between squalls, gotta love western wa!.

 

I think your going the correct route with a rebuild. Put a Magnefine filter in the return line also.
