M68...what it worth?

The industrial engines came in both 239 and 337 cid. Regardless of the cid, the industrial engines were basically the same as the car/truck engines. Most industrial versions had a governor on them.
Unless it's been removed, a true industrial engine will have a tag identifying it as such, at least from what I've seen.

Mercury trucks did not have Mercury engines (strokers with 255 ci). They are the same Ford engine as F-series. There is one exception but it's a bigger truck (F-5 as I recall).
The way prices are going lately, I wouldn't think twice about $2k for the package. The pump motor might get you on the road but in my experience they got little maintenance and are frequently just old car engines from the boneyard.

In Canada the M-68/M-3 was called a one ton. In the US they called it a HD 3/4 ton.
As far a dual tires the Truck chassis parts catalog lists part numbers for 1951-52 F-3/M-3 but not in pickup form. Shows standard 8 bolt rim in front and 6 bolt dually rims in back. I've yet to see if one actually exists though.
Out here you'll find 5 one tons to 1 half ton. There is very little interest in the one ton stuff. I've tried to sell spare parts for dirt cheap but no one wanted it.
