With a dial-back timing light, tach, and hand vacuum pump graph the mechanical and vacuum timing curves to confirm they match what the engine needs.

Backrap through the exhaust means retarded timing. Try running the vacuum advance off manifold vacuum instead of ported and see if that clears it up.

Is the choke still drawing power from the coil?

Found it! Just hooked up the secondaries with a nut and bolt thru the linkage to manually open them and started pullin right up thru the rpm range. I may order a new bladder and spring assortment kit. Should fix the issue correct?

So i found one issue.., and then i pull in the garage and the hood bracket (have no hood on) fell down and jump the starter solenoid. Now my tach volt meyer etc jump turn off and are all over the place while driving

Just checked it with vacuum gauge, just under 5 at idle and about 22 at 3000rpm

Sounds like the vacuum bladder is bad or just the real heavy spring in it.
Cool.
With that vacuum reading, I'd suggest with lightest spring, and if it bogs when the secondaries open, go the next stiffer.
