Fuel pump fuse and/or Schrader valve location?
Hey guys. I have a thread running about poor gas mileage on an E350, and I think I found the cause of it. That said, I have a very specific issue right now, so I started a new thread. My apologies if this unethical.
I can't seem to find a schrader valve anywhere to release the pressure. I've read in other threads about pulling the fuel pump fuse, starting the engine and waiting until it dies to release the pressure. My problem is that my fuse box does not match up to what the Haynes manual says it should be, and my owners manual does not sure a fuel pump fuse at all! Just a 20A Maxi-fuse fuel pump relay. I tried pulling that, and while the engine sounds like it's gasping for fuel, it never dies. Just keeps going.
My Haynes manual also to pull the inertia switch behind the passenger kick panel (if I can't find a schrader valve) and start the engine. Tried that, and the engine won't start. Tried starting the engine, THEN pulling the inertia switch, and nothing changes.
Any help would be juuuuust awesome. Thanks fellas.
