I last plugged in my chip just before "smog" check, what a CatsAssTrophy. I returned to stock programming and just never got back around to re-programming the truck. Today I attempted to program and when I plugged in my chip... Nothing (Yeah, I know... shoulda got a DP).
I took it to my computer and plugged i the USB, it came on and offered to show me the version and set contrast. I maxed out the contrast thinking maybe I just couldn't see and plugged it back in and still nothing. Just a blank screen.
I'm overwhelmed by the vast quantity and quality of responses I have received...
Anyway, I have finally got to the bottom of the problem. Apparently due to a fuse failure (common to one of the cigarette lighter outlets), the OBD2 port was no longer receiving power. This deprived the chip of the power needed to operate and caused the chip to no longer function. Hope this helps someone out.
