Hi I've got a 1999 f-150 5.4l 4x4 with 212,000 and the number 2. Cylinder keeps smashing the plug shut even after the ford dealer did a tune up and fixed the number 2 cylinder that was striped out from the previous owner. But I'm tired of fixing it and now can't get a plug to stay in at all now and am going to swap engines out with a 1999 5.4l ford reman engine (came from a 99 expedition) with around 40,000 miles on it that I have in a van right now with a bad tranny. What I'm wanting to know is there in problems I should be looking for as far as compability and I'm also wanting to build more torque and horse power with out sacerficeing to much mpgs also so what would be good ideas other than new plugs and coil packs wich I plan on doing anways any help would be great

Ps- I would just fix the head if I didn't already have this motor just sitting in my barn going to waste with the van it's in going to scrap lol
