This Bob using Chris's Ipad. Chris is busy talking to an Iowa State trooper who pulled us over to see if we're hauling a commercial load. Turned out the guy is a car guy, a Chevy car guy. We told him we we wouldn't hold it against him. He checked Chris's license and left us go after talking old cars for a few minutes. He was feeling us out to see if we'd say anything to indicate we were hauling for a profit. All is good.

LOL. The saga continues....... Tell that state trooper that you're so far in the red on this trip, you'll never break even. What next?

Hauling for A profit? I guess he doesn't know you guys!

BTW, what difference does it make if you are hauling for profit in Iowa?

I believe hauling for profit would require CDL, Log book, signage on the truck, special insurance, etc.

I made it out without going to the pokey! Interstate commerce truck enforcement officer. I showed him my photos of last weekend and photos of my old broken trucks and laughed at us and said have a safe night!

He ran my plates on the yellow truck and my license . I need to get my CDL because of the weights I m running . But he said nothing about it.

You should have told him to get on this forum and read all about it, blow by blow.
That is great looking rig you have now! Good to read that you are now almost home free, no jail time or big fines! I think this entire story is a classic, might even make a good movie...

My wife's pass CEO was on the board for John Deere so she got us a room at the corporate headquarters hotel in Moline il. The Radisson .
