I need to go check out Budget this week and see what I can find, maybe the newer cup holders or even an 05 Lower dash section.
The one in Auburn by me? Let me know, maybe I'll join you and poke around. There isn't anything I plan to get right away but I have tools and stuff I'll have with me. Going to budget is always a fun trip. Even if you don't find parts, you see all kinds of strange things.
Shoot me a text Wednesday. I usually am up by 1pm after the good ole graveyard shift. That would give a couple hours of day light and weather is supposed to be decent.
Just off the top of my head, any Optional parts for 73-79 trucks, Dylan you have my number as that's way easier to send pics than the forum.
Will do. I'll be keeping an eye out for any hydro boosters but in the end, I didn't have any plan to get anything. Just to meet up with Bently and do some pickin. I'll shoot you some pictures if I see anything.
Well, that was kind of a wasted trip. Neither of us found anything useful. I bought an IAC off a 351w in a 90s pickup but it turns out,y little 302 doesn't like it. So, I've got a useless IAC. Oh well, my old one is still working.
I didn't fail completely. I hit up two yards in Kent. AAA Autowrecking had an Excursion with the transfer case skid plate accessible. They also had a dent side extended cab F350 Ranger in the back on the fence. Didn't look too tore apart. Lots of front end, engine and the dash looked complete(Blue). Same yard also had a cup holder spacer and hardware for my Civic's.
Hey folks, I am new to the forum as a member, and I have a 1950 F6 that I need wheels for. Anyone have any ideas about a good place to look for them? I am in Vancouver, down by Oregon but I am wiling to travel.
I am not worried if they are not 'correct', I intend to drive this truck. All I have right now are the 20" splits, and only four of them are solid enough to hold air the rest are rusted out. My truck spent thirty years in a farmer's field. The body is fairly rust-free.
Thry calling Horseshoe Auto Wrecking, All About Auto Wrecking and Yank-a-Part. These are the 3 yards that come to mind for having vehicles of that era and also deal with some Medium and Heavy Duty trucks.
If either of them (or anywhere else north up to Arlington) has what you're looking for I could pick up/deliver.
