Repairing HPOP fittings

I have a leak from one of my HPOP fittings. They are easy to access with the pump in the truck. Bob's instructions say to pull the HPOP, is that a requirement to replace oRings in the fittings or can I do it with the pump in the truck?

I just did that this weekend. No reason to pull the pump. I do not remember his instructions saying that you need to pull the pump.

You need to pull the pump only if it's the plug on the under-side. If it is, pay special attention to the instructions!

The rear plug, and the two hose fittings can be repaired without pulling the pump.

Remember to use the LocTite, and make sure all the threads (internal and external) are SPOTLESSLY-CLEAN and free from any kind of oil.

Also be sure to never turn the fittings (even slightly) once the LocTite has cured.

We should have pulled the Icp. It would have made getting the plugs Threaded back in a little easier.

The back fitting was easy as well.

When I did mime I removed the IPR and completely drained all the oil, flushed the reservoir with brake cleaner and let it sit all night. The IPR is lower than the ports and will allow the ports to stay clean and dry. Next day I cleaned the threads again and blew them dry, and followed the instructions using the special lock tite. Let it sit again overnight then did an oil change. Been a couple years now without issues. Maybe overkill but I had the time.
