Thanks again Chris. I did knock the insert out of the front one when I did the mod. It came out fairly easy. I just cut almost all the way through like Glenn said and knocked it out the bottom with a hammer and chisel.

Getting the insert in the neck out wasnt an issue. What I have a problem with is my 90 degree fitting on the top of my 38 gallon tank is pinned by the bed. I couldnt go any smaller of a fitting though cuz it needed to actually vent something to the top of the neck.

It's so tight there, that's why I was thinking of a different way. Ya if the tank was down and empty you could locate a spot that will work and drill a hole, I was just looking at it in an easier way! I'm just gonna pull the inner out like Chris said sometime and try it like that for a bit.
