Hey guys - I'm in middle of my 56 F100's front suspension and motor swap (302/c4). I ordered a drop axle from SID (3") and I'm looking to get the down and forward springs. My question is though, how much would that lower the truck total? I don't want to "slam" the truck. I do want the forward springs so I can center the wheels with the opening, and make it more "concentric". Can anyone recommend a spring for me? Perhaps a good shock to use? (If anyone has a setup similar to this, I would like to ask a few questions as far is the ride quality.) I'm making a nice driver out of the truck using the stock front suspension, it will have a CPP power steering box as well is disc & power brake setup. Lastly, what all will I need, other than the tie rod drops for the drop axle?

Check my album. I have a 51 with a Sid's 3" drop, reverse eye springs, and every other leaf removed. Can't comment on the ride quality since it's not running yet!
