Interesting '88 Diesel for sale
1988 diesel E-350 ford extended body van
I thought the trim around the tail lights was history by '88.
Not mine, no stake in sale.

1986 ford e-350 automatic transmission title : clean
For sale is a old club-wagon XLT with all the options and some very nice add-ons.
International Navstar 6.9L IDI diesel engine, these are legend for going at least 400K without trouble. (Also no smog check, ever)
Turbocharger kit with straight exhaust for much better power and economy.
Ford C6 transmission, used by many for racing and considered one of the most indestructible transmissions ford ever made.
Gear-vendors all-range "P"-type overdrive with about 10,000miles on it, list price near $4K
Huge fuel capacity: back tank of about 27G plus the aftermarket front fuel tank of 55 gallons!
Being a passenger van it has the optional rear heater, which makes plumbing for waste-oil on the front tank a snap so you can run greasel or SVO.
Had the passenger package: insulated, carpeted, tinted windows, power locks and windows, etc.
Comes with two rows of back seats so can be registered non-commercial and take the whole family and a ton of cargo.
cargo capacity of over 3000lbs on a 1+ton chassis.
This van is MASSIVE on the interior: you have room for a tool chest and equipment up front and still can slide 4x8 plywood in the back, about 12' from the back doors to the back of the front seats and you can fit 15' trim in by setting it on the dashboard and still close the doors.
4 good quality, high-power speakers (kenwood in front, sony in back, on extended bases) that sound good driven by an indifferent MP-3 player head unit that takes SD, USB, and aux in.
Extended gauge suite including tach, transmission temp, and exhaust temp.
I've gotten about 18 on the highway nearly empty down to about 10 grossly overloaded driving fast over the sierras.
The body is a little better than most of the vans of this age and series but imperfect, the paint is very thin. The front seats were re-upholstered a couple years back and the back seats are in great condition (current seating for 8, you can fit another 2 rows of back seats!)
A few years back I took a 6500mi summer trip but since then it gets used every few months for a short trip so just isn't worth keeping around.
It has a number of pretty small issues, the dome lights quit, the front heater fan only works on high, a small PS drip (just a loose hose I think), cruise control is flaky, etc. Nothing that keeps me from getting in and starting it up to make my run.
Just paid the fees and got new stickers so it's good for the next year.

So what does he mean by this? Can it burn used motor oil? What is
Bio-Diesel? Kinda a cool rig with lots of stuff for sure. I am thinking it's
of the age and mileage to start to dollar a guy to death though.
