Intake on 2011 F250

Hey guys might be interested in getting an intake installed on my 2011 f250 6.7 diesel. the problem is I live in CA and I have to get my truck smog every two yrs. One part of the inspection is a visual inspection, I've heard if they see an intake sys they fail the truck for it. Anyone have advice or experience with this? Im looking to get some more power and better milage.

Wrong, on diesel engines you can change the exhaust and intake with know problems. You have to look it up because some shops don't know this but it is true. Good luck.

for what it's worth...many of the aftermarket cai are easily removeable and the original put back in...I have the Banks Ram Air on my 6.4 and it is a 10, maybe 15 minute switch a roo.

On other things like tuners banks is the only one in California because they gave a lot of time and money to be carb approved.
