WTB: oil canister housing for 63 F100 223

I reposted this in the right form; I am looking for the old school housing for the 2 piece oil filter & housing. I have 2 of the filters.

Thanks!

There's a lot more to it than just the housing, look at the parts catalog pic.

Now, what parts do you really need, the housing or more?

Basic part numbers with * before them are not used on 223's.

Notice the Spin-On filter in the lower pic. You can buy an adapter kit from NAPA and you'll never have to mess with that canister filter again.

Adapter kit same: 1952/64 cars/trucks with 215/223 I-6's, 239/256/272/292/312 Y blocks.

The Motor has the spin on adapter i want to take it off to convert back to the canister style, so I would need #6741, 6149, 6737, 6889, 6898, 6746, 6838, 6890. Thanks for your help- Are these parts still available? NOS or used?

NOS, I may be able to help you. Used, I wouldn't have a clue.

It's gonna take some time to look up all these parts, then search for them, post the results.

I'd prefer to do this by "Ameche" rather than having to type a long long post.

1939: Don Ameche starred in a film about Alexander Graham Bell. It wasn't too long before people started calling the telephone...Ameche.

If we do it this way, I won't have to type all this jazz. If you agree, send me your number: sylhall@aol.com
