Transmission Housing Cracked--HELP!

I took my trans into the shop and they said the housing is cracked.. Anyone know where I can get another one or what to do to fix it? I know you can weld it depending on where the crack is.. 1961 Ford F100 Automatic Trans 292V8
Thanks!!

That's a good question. Did the shop have any advice? First thing, maybe you've done this already, is to make sure you've got a good part number for the assembly or parts that you need.

With a "good" number junkyards can search several states. Internet searches will yield good hits, etc. Shipping would be expensive, though. If you can get it welded, to make it serviceable that would be the way to go. Let us know what you find.
