questions about 2014 F250 vs F350

I know this has been discussed for previous model years, and I did a quick search but didn't find anything. It used to be the difference (mechanically speaking anyway) was just lift blocks. With the change in '14 to the taller lift blocks in the F250, what's the difference now? Just the helper spring? I'm looking to trade in my '12 and was wanting to go to a 350, but they're harder to find, and it seems to me that an F250 with the camper package is the same thing? Other than GVW and axle "ratings" of course. Or am I missing something else?

Thanks

I have a 13 f-250 c/c lariat special order but when it was delivered I hated the way it sat. First thing I did was order the f-350 blocks and take it to my local spring rebuilder shop and had them installed. I was told by them that my truck was basically a f-350 because I had the camper package and plow package on my truck again that is what they said it hasn't been confirmed. I will be watching to see what other people say about this subject.

Ya my '12 supercab does not have camper package, and my '14 regular cab does along with the bigger rear lift blocks, and both trucks have the plow package. The '14 reg cab sits considerably higher, and also doesn't sag nearly as much under load. So there was definitely some changes made somewhere. They're not totally comparable trucks, but still the '14's suspension seems way more firm.

Just out of curiosity, how are you guys getting the Camper package *and* the snow plow prep package on the same truck? When I ordered mine it would only let me order one package or the other, the "system" wouldn't let me order with both.

If you go to the Ford website, and build your own truck, same rules apply.

Are your trucks special fleet orders or something? Are both packages reflected on the window sticker?

The f-250 with the camper package has 350 rear springs not sure on the blocks, did not measure them, also has the rear anti-sway bar and the front has +1 springs. As far as I understand it the only difference between the f250 with camper package and the f350 is the front springs, rear blocks and the f350 has hydrolic braking opposed to vacuum assist braking.

This is my window sticker and was assisted by dealer when I ordered and built truck so it was available to get both in 13 not sure about 14 also the f-250 come with 1.75" blocks which I ordered 3.5" blocks 3 days after picking up truck and had local company install them when they came in. I hated the way the truck sat had to change them my wife thought I was nuts modifying a 3 day old truck.

I just bought a '14 F250 CC Fx4 with camper package. Had the 2 inch blocks. After putting my tractor behind it, I bought the 4 inch ready lift blocks and had Ford Dealer install them. Love the look of it now. And it sets perfect while under a load.

Yeah I believe so. There was only one SRW 350 on the lot, but it had the 4 inch blocks.
Ive seen several people on here say the '14 250's have 4 inch blocks also, but I haven't seen one yet.

The place that installed them had me go to dealer and get under a 350 and measure them mine actually had 1. 3/4" blocks and the 350 had 3 1/2" blocks but ford May round them up to 2" and 4" blocks but it made the truck sit much better
