Radio Fryer?

Radio Fryer?
I don't want to fry my radio so I've a couple wiring questions.
Looking at the wiring diagram, the power to the radio is a yellow and black wire. Looking under the dash, I see no such wire anywhere near the radio. Looking near the head light switch I see a black wire with a yellow stripe and a yellow wire with a black (or maybe dark brown stripe) also, coming through the firewall, I see one each of those wires. Should I tap into one of these wires? Is there another wire that is easy to tap into that will work as well?

Sounds like the guy who wired my truck wired yours too Anyhow, you could get a multimeter and check wires around there to see if they will work for you. IIRC, as long as you have a fuse of the right amperage between your radio and your positive terminal, you should be able to use pretty much any wire or run another one. But I would wait for another member to verify just to be safe.
