New guy needing advice on what Ford to buy.
I'm looking at a 2002 F250 v10 with 105k on it. I live in MN and need something that can better pull my trailer with wheelers and snowmobiles. Nothing much more than that. I am looking to get some advice on what to look for when I go check out this truck, what to ask etc... Any help would be much appreciated.

Check exhaust manifolds for broken studs listen for exhaust leaks a indication of broken or rusted out exhaust manifold studs cost to have new exhaust manifold gaskets and studs 600 bucks or more .check condition of transmission fluid check oil level ask to see service records .I have a 2003 V10 with 136k on it and its been a good truck so far .HAD TO HAVE EXHAUST Manifold studs and gaskets replaced and I installed all new spark plugs and mod coils last year

listen for ticking noises, if they are loud enough it could be a faulty lash adjuster(s) or a broken timing chain guide. if they kept service records if they used motorcraft oil and filters the entire trucks life is a huge plus. the spark plugs in these engines are known for launching out of the aluminum heads so replace the spark plugs and torque them properly with motorcraft spark plugs only! this truck will be great for your needs as long as there are no issues.
