Have a chance to get one cheap but i am worried that its sticks out to far like a window walk or something and also how heavy are they? And are they nice?

 

I really like my Ranch Hand. I can post pics in the AM but I have a full replacement with Warn Winch installed. Since the truck is lifted, I like the bumper because I can climb up and work on my motor. It's heavy, I don't know how heavy, but the truck holds it fine.

It set me back $2200 with the winch, when I hit a deer at 80mph, the Ranch Hand saved me and my family not to mention saved my Ex from the salvage yard. Worth every penny.

I'll post pics, but if you can get a deal on one, buy it and don't look back. They are great!

 

I love mine. The main reason I got one is because I tow long distances, and if I am a thousand miles from home, pulling a car and car hauler and someone pulls out in front of me, and I ram into them, I dont want my truck to be incapacitated so that I then have to have it towed back along with a loaded car hauler. I would just like to be able to drive it back myself. Its heavy, about 300 pounds, without a winch. I am running X code front springs, I would definitely recommend upgrading your springs before installing or soon thereafter. Bought mine for $950 off of ebay, shipped freight. I also removed that lower bar that comes factory on the Exs for increased ground clearance and better airflow to the radiators.
