64 Interior **** Layout Question(s)
Howdy all -
On my 64, not a custom cab, the layout of the control ***** seem to have been changed around a bit in the past 50 years..go figure! On the right side of the steering wheel on the dash, there are 3 original holes in the dash for ***** / controls. An after market choke cable was installed in farthest left hole, then a throttle ****, then the heater motor / pull for defrost ****. I don't think the throttle **** is original either and I don't really need it. Does anyone know the "proper"or correct layout of the *****? I think the original choke needs furthest left, then the **** to control heat on / off, then the heater fan control / pull for defrost ****?? Sound right?? Any pics would be appreciated...!!!

Sure.. This truck has the Fresh Air Heater, an extra cost option (pretty fancy!) and those are two of the three controls for the heater., HEAT and TEMP.
The FAN control has OFF, LO, and HI, pulling it out directs air on the windshield for defrosting. The HEAT control brings outside fresh air into the cab. TEMP regulates how hot the cab gets. Works good.

Right of column: 9775 throttle cable or 374052-S blankout plug - 9700 choke cable - 18578 heater blower switch/cable or 18607 blankout plug.
1961/64: The recirculating and deluxe fresh air heaters were optional, but all came with the choke cable. Throttle cables may be installed in F500/1100's, but I've seen a few in F100/350's.
