Thread title and location
Just a suggestion,
1) It would be a lot easier to cruise the forums if your thread title had something to do with your problem.
IE. if you have a problem with your c-6, "newbie with a problem" is not going to attract a tranny guy.
2) if you add your approx. location to your profile, nobody will offer you a free 10 dollar part if your on the opposite coast. Of offer to come over and give you a hand

X 2 .....and x3 good call.
Being more specific also lets the search option work better, for other folks.
Just update your profile under location, cause those are two great reasons.
Also join and cruise your FTE state chapters, great way to source instate parts/JY info and get a wrenching hand.
Pretty much each chapter has a monthly chat and BS thread, and classifieds, ck'm out.

I agree too, because some of us cant see avatars, profiles, etc. i hear about a dropdown advance search button too, but unless i go to Desktop view i cant see it. And Desktop usually wont load for me.
And idk if anyone agrees with me, but hijacking and necroposting seems like a better choice sometimes if you need further clarification on something. At least everyone knows what information that you have already read, and where you are going.

Yes there is a Advanced Search...with the "View Full Site".
Do you see the blue line with User CP, Albums, FAQ? See the search on that line?
It has a drop down search menu arrow on the R/H side, click it and go down to the "Advanced Search" bottom option, type in there say "bla bla bla" and then go to the lower right hand column and highlight 73-79 -forum. Select it and then you will have a detailed search just in the 73-79 forums.
